Criticality of the Northeast Corridor to NASTO's Success

This session will look at the challenges the Northeast Corridor faces from aging infrastructure and equipment, the significant investments that are moving forward to rebuild the corridor thanks to the advance funding included in IIJA, and the additional investment needs that must be addressed in the next reauthorization bill. Participants will be able to discuss projects that they are leading, the challenges they have faced from aging infrastructure/rolling stock, and their service and investment priorities going forward. Envisioned to have four speakers plus a moderator.
