Enhance your NASTO 2026 experience with optional wellness programs and behind-the-scenes technical tours hosted by Maryland transportation agencies. All activities are ticketed add-ons to conference registration.
Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Early sign-up is encouraged.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals

NASTO colleagues will enjoy an afternoon of Major League Baseball at one of the most beloved ballparks in America, Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The stadium that sparked a nationwide renaissance in classic ballpark design provides a stunning backdrop as the Baltimore Orioles host the Kansas City Royals for a 1:35 PM first pitch.
Seats are located in Section 288, providing an elevated view of the field and the surrounding Camden Yards skyline. Tickets include access to the Ballpark Classic Food package, featuring an array of ballpark favorites.

Wellness Programs
Guided Run along the Baltimore Waterfront

Start your morning with a guided run along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront promenade, hosted in partnership with Charm City Run. Participants will meet at the hotel at 5:45 AM for a warm-up before heading out along the Inner Harbor. Choose your own pace with options for a 1-mile route, a 30-minute run, or a full 5K. Maps will be provided.
All participants will receive a coupon to use at the nearby Charm City Run Fell’s Point store, located within walking distance of the hotel.
Note: Participants will be asked to complete a Charm City Run waiver electronically in advance or on-site the morning of the run.

Technical Tours
Francis Scott Key Bridge Rebuild Project

The Maryland Transportation Authority invites attendees for an exclusive tour of the Francis Scott Key Bridge Rebuild Project — one of the most significant infrastructure recovery efforts in recent U.S. history.
Attendees will be shuttled to the southside and walk along the newly constructed trestle, an above-water platform built to provide safe, rapid access to the active work site. From the trestle or a nearby pier, participants will board a vessel and travel to the construction activities in the Patapsco River, where they will witness the largest fully rotating crane barge on the East Coast drive piles into the riverbed.
Note: This is an active construction site. Attendees must dress appropriately for outdoor site conditions (closed-toe shoes required; hard hat and safety vest will be provided on-site).

Port of Baltimore Tour

The Maryland Port Administration welcomes attendees aboard the Endeavor for a 90-minute vessel tour of the Port of Baltimore — one of the nation’s most storied and active seaports.
Attendees will board a Port shuttle to the Boston Street Pier to embark on the Endeavor. The tour explores the historic and active piers and terminals along the 320-year-old Port, offering an up-close look at maritime operations and the infrastructure that keeps Mid-Atlantic commerce moving.
Note: Attendees should plan to wear comfortable, casual clothing suitable for time aboard a vessel.

E-Bike Baltimore City Tour

Join the Maryland Department of Transportation for a 12-mile guided e-bike ride through Baltimore City’s existing and planned bicycle and transportation trail network.
The tour departs from the Inner Harbor and takes participants through urban bike lanes funded by local, state, and federal sources. Along the way, riders will hear about plans for the Baltimore Greenway Trails Network, learn about the Baltimore Bike Counter program, and enjoy Baltimore’s unique urban landscape. The tour is approximately 3 hours total, with roughly 2 hours of riding and three planned stops.
Note: Some portions of the ride will be on roads without dedicated bicycle facilities. Participants should have prior experience riding a bicycle in an urban environment. A safety briefing, helmets, and e-assist bicycles will be provided. Bring water and wear comfortable clothing appropriate for cycling.
