Neelima Ghanta is the Deputy Director at DDOT. In this role, she develops and executes cross‑administration strategies that strengthen the agency’s ability to deliver its core mission. When needed, she leads complex and multidisciplinary efforts spanning planning, design, construction, and maintenance. With more than two decades of international experience across public and private sectors, Neelima has guided major transportation projects from vision through implementation in both the United States and New Zealand. She is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand, and she holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
