Cedric Ward is the Director of the State Highway Administration’s Office of Traffic and Safety, where he is responsible for leadership and oversight of various safety and mobility initiatives, including the Highway Safety Improvement and Commercial Vehicle Safety Programs, Automated Speed Enforcement Programs, Maryland MUTCD, traffic signal operations, and the design and construction of traffic control and ITS devices. Cedric is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland and a devoted husband and father of three.
